On the Eve after Ruth Ginsbergs’ death.
While we morn the loss of a great female US leader who was a pioneer in women’s rights, let us not take the deeper message of her passing at this epic time in history/herstory…
She has carried the torch thus far and is now passing it on to each of us.
We must all rise in our own leadership and be the justice of the peace in our everyday lives. We must take a stand, use our voice, our power, our talents/gifts and passions to be the voice of peace, each one of us in our very own lives, male and female.
We can no longer expect our governments and leaders to do it for us. We must lead in every relationship, every platform, every community to serve the evolution of humanity.
And it starts with each and every one of us.
It is a call to rise. Let us celebrate the life of a nation’s great female leader and pioneer who used every ounce of her gifts and potential to take a stand and fight for justice for women to have the same rights and status as men…and also, know that it is our turn to be the change we want to see in our very own lives.
We have more work to do. And she has paved the way, but now it is our turn. Each and every one of us to follow in her footsteps.
Let us blaze a new trail for humanity at this time and also remember that while we look on a great female leader whose life was a testimony to this, that we must do the inner integration work and rise above the battle of the sexes, the war of the parties and remember our inherent peace lies in our remembrance of this unification.
We are all one in our evolution.
We must look beyond the surface of this great time of transformation and recalibration and fight for justice no matter what our gender, color, or political party identification is …remember it is just egoic identification and it is time for us not only to fight for equal justice for these things but to fight for equal justice within…
and bring our SOUL back into the leadership of our very own lives.
And sometimes that transformation, that leadership looks messy. Unpopular. Threatening to the status quo. Nonconforming. Taking risks. Speaking up. Resilience.
As I sit here in Bali at 4:30 am, my little 4-year-old Sophie’s asleep next to me, her little hand rises on my arm as I write as if to say, Mom…I am with you… you are writing this for me, for us.
And I am reminded that I am at peace, why? because I have used every ounce of my privilege, my gifts & talents, my education, my investments, my healing and my authentic self-expression, to break the cycle of abuse in my world and create a world where she can run free to be herself, authentically.
Unapologetically herself. Not for me, for her. And my joy comes from that knowledge.
A world where she will not feel shamed being in a female body as a way to keep her quiet and controlled. She will not be made to feel less in her own home (or greater than). She will have not evidence of this because I will not tolerate it in my house…in my world. Where she will know that while she may be equal in stature to her best buddy Archer, here in Bali, she is different, he is different and that is beautiful and also wildly interesting, curious and exciting…
She will know to also celebrate her differences as a woman, use her voice (she never lost it, she was born with it…look out world) and use her gifts to the best of her ability without having to deny her feminine qualities, and the feminine principle, or her feminine gifts to fit into a ‘man’s’ world. To own her feminine power, unapologetically without having to conform to be a ‘man’ to own her power.
She can continue to embody her wholeness as a girl, her magic and incredible psychic intuitive gifts and then as a woman, with protection, support and continued encouragement and trust, from me and our community.
And this is the deeper change that happens right here, right now, that goes beyond right and wrong and parties and politics and for me brings it all home. We all must do our part.
Rise above the distractions and bring it on home.
Each and everyone one of us has a part to play, and they all look different.
How are you being called to lead in your own life?
Because we can no longer sit as passive participants waiting for the next appointment, and allowing our emotional bodies and our health to be controlled and our precious life force siphoned by the media and a nasty election of a country …and a world in massive, epic change in consciousness.
We must rise above it, we need to rise in our everyday leadership and follow devotedly to our soul’s calling and guidance and stop living in denial waiting for the government, the healthcare system, the economy, the education to create the changes we want to see…someone else….we must lead the change in our very own lives and rise up with that creative responsibility vs expecting someone to give it to us.
May her memory be a revolution to our evolution.
Your voice matters. Your life matters.
Start acting like it. Stop waiting for permission.
It is here now. And waiting for you.
Much love x
Melissa
